Paying yourself

You pay Clay directly, and you see the cost first

Clay is a cash-based practice. You pay for each visit when you come, and we send an estimate in writing before your first visit. We do not bill Medicare or other plans.

If your plan reimburses care outside its network, we give you a receipt to send in.

What you get

Two ways to pay

A visit at Clay, and a visit billed to a plan

Both are real physical therapy. They are set up differently, and it helps to know how before you choose.

Questions

Before you call

Do I need a referral?

In Georgia you can start physical therapy without a referral from a physician. We tell you if we think a physician should see you first. A plan that reimburses you may still ask for one.

Do you take insurance?

We do not bill Medicare or other plans. You pay us directly, and if your plan reimburses care outside its network, we give you a receipt to send in.

What does a visit cost?

It depends on the length and kind of visit. We send an estimate in writing before your first visit, so you know before you come. How fees work has the details.

How long is a visit, and who treats me?

A visit is a full hour, one-on-one. Esther or Mia treats you, and your therapist stays with you for the whole visit.

Can I ask a question before I book?

Yes. Book a free 15-minute phone call and ask what you want to ask. We will tell you if we are the right fit, and who to see if we are not.
